The Horny Hideaway is coming to the former Milwaukee Pump House location at 2011 S. 1st St. in Walker's Point.
The Horny Goat Brewing Company entered the area in April with three of its craft brews. The company now plans to open a brewery destination "this summer" where "guests can engage in the Horny Goat experience."
According to a news release, the company will also continue to build strategic partnerships in the area. One partnership already in the works is with Usinger's Sausage, which provides sample brats to complement Horny Goat brews at bars, grocery stores and special events.
"As Horny Goat Brewing expands, we'll continue to look for additional distribution and partners that will help us build on this foundation," said Jim Sorenson, managing partner and CEO of Horny Goat Brewing Company.
"We plan on having an immediate and long-term impact in the community while making beer that people enjoy."

They will also be brewing seasonal's out of the location at the pump house. I have gone down to the site to see how things are coming along. Although they do contract brew, there will still be brewing going on in Milwaukee.

Horny Goat is doing a great job of Marketing their beers as well as creating an up lift to Milwaukee. The building is in great condition and this is something that can help the area a bit and bring in more of a diverse crowd. I've seen Horny Goat doing promotions all over town and they have really done a great job at connecting with their customers. I think you all should try the beer as well as stop by one of their events because you will be very surprised.

their terrible marketing campaign aside the beer is not much better. the belgian wheat is OK whereas the other two are simply bad craft beers in a modern market where the bar has certainly been set by the likes of central waters, furthermore, sandcreek, and dare i even say lakefront.

Forget the name and marketing and try the beer! The beer will be made in Milwaukee shortly. They needed to contract it out initially while they raised capital for the bewery building and equipment. Sometimes ideas don't always follow a specific or ideal timeline. A keg of the Horny Goat 'Exposed' was just tapped at Tess on the East Side and it is delicious! Give it a try before you knock it!

What an awful name. Maybe they could go in to business with the DB's from Pepe's Pink Taco on Farwell. The fact that they contract brew only pours salt on the wound. I am sad that Milwaukee doesn't have any great craft breweries. Nothing against Lakefront, but we could really use a cutting edge brewer.
