Glossary Glossary

CPM: Cost per thousand

Placed by Week: Client will "own" ad placement for the entire week. The ad will be fixed in place and will not rotate with other ads.

Run of Site: The ads will be featured on any page. These ads are not targeted.

Targeted Content: Many ads can be specifically placed in certain sections. EXAMPLE: A restaurant may want their ads to appear in our dining section.

Special Sections: Promotional sections that appear only certain times of year, such as holiday and festival guides.

“Let’s fast-forward to a Saturday morning in the year 2012: You get out of bed, put on the coffee, but instead of stepping out on the front porch to pick up the paper, you sit down in front of your home computer and click on your local newspaper online.”

“One by one, print publications have been driven to extinction by something higher on the food chain; in this case, it’s online publications.”
